01.Information We Do Not Collect

Because URL Clean Kit is engineered with a local-first computing model:

• We do not collect, inspect, log, or transmit any URLs you paste, clean, or download.
• We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, IP address, or location.
• We do not use third-party behavioral analytics, advertising pixels, or telemetry beacons.
• We do not sell, rent, or monetize your data under any circumstances.

02.Client-Side Local Storage (Browser Vault)

To provide productivity conveniences, URL Clean Kit offers an optional Session Link History and Custom Rules Storage:

• Link History: Stored strictly in your browser's private localStorage on your physical device. It is never transmitted across the network.
• User Control: You can clear your entire stored link history at any time with a single click using the "Clear All" button in the History Drawer.
• Custom Parameter Rules: Your custom parameter whitelists and blacklists are stored locally in your browser so they remain available when you return.

03.Cookies & Tracking Technologies

URL Clean Kit does not set any tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or persistent third-party identification cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may process transient network connection metadata (such as IP addresses and TLS handshakes) strictly to route HTTP traffic and defend against denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, in compliance with GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

04.QR Code Generation Security

Unlike other utilities that send your URLs to third-party QR code generation APIs (which logs your destination URLs on external servers), URL Clean Kit generates all QR codes entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. No outbound network requests are made during QR code rendering.

05.Global Regulatory Compliance (GDPR, CCPA & ePrivacy)

By designing our tool to never process, store, or transmit personal data to remote servers, URL Clean Kit inherently meets the highest standards of data protection, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because no personal data is collected or transferred, there are no cross-border data transfer risks.
